The North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce's 15th annual Business Excellence Awards were held Nov. 8 at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier and saw more than 330 people in attendance. Global B.C.'s Chris Gailus served as MC at the event, which honoured local residents in six categories ranging from best business to service excellence.

pilano University Motion Picture Arts film students were also recognized with three award scholarships in light of their short films featuring each of the Business Excellence Awards finalists. A Capilano business student was also recognized with a scholarship.
