An inaugural baby fair for new and expectant mothers in North Delta is set for Saturday, Feb. 25.

The event will be hosted by Delta Early Childhood Education Committee and Delta Community Literacy Committee.

An array of interactive displays, demos and baby products from local services and businesses will be featured at the event, which runs from 9: 30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North Delta Recreation Centre, 11415 84th Ave.

The fair is being held as a way to "raise awareness about the importance of early childhood development and how parents can foster fun, play, learning and literacy as they raise their children."
