The local music community came out in full force to honour and help out the family of a great friend, Paul Baker, Oct. 20 at Vancouver’s The Chapel. Baker was the owner of Bakerstreet Studios in Lower Lonsdale and spent 40 years in the music industry before succumbing to cancer in September. The benefit concert featured the sharing of stories by friends and performances by a number of artists including Chilliwack and the Odds. This was the inaugural fundraising event by Our Music Family Society, created to help friends help musicians in life-threatening situations.
