The sixth annual Tsleil-Waututh Cultural Arts Festival was held at Cates Park/Whey-Ah-Wichen in North Vancouver Aug. 19.

The event was intended to allow those in attendance to experience First Nations culture, learn about the history of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation and celebrate diversity, family and community.

Festivities included live performances, a scavenger hunt, traditional-style canoe rides, a trade zone and craft fair, food offerings and children's activities.
