The holiday season officially came to an end last weekend as North Shore residents took their Christmas trees to public tree chip-ups. There were a number of chip-up events offered in both North and West Vancouver with donations supporting the host organizations themselves as well as local programs and projects.

The photos on this page, shot Saturday and Sunday, show chip-ups hosted by cole Larson elementary, 30th Seymour Scouts, 13th Seymour Scouts, 6th St. Agnes Scouts, North Vancouver City Fire Department and North Vancouver Host Lions Club.
