Kendrick Lamar set to open Grammy Awards with U2 and Dave Chappelle

Awards show airs Sunday

The 60th annual Grammy Awards will air Sunday from New York City’s Madison Square Garden on CityTV and CBS, starting at 4:30 p.m. PST.

James Corden hosts the night being held on the East Coast for the first time in 15 years. Kendrick Lamar, U2 and Dave Chappelle will open the show with other performers expected to include Kesha, Rihanna, Chris Stapleton with Emmylou Harris, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Pink, Childish Gambino, Sting, Bruno Mars and Cardi B.

Eric Church, Maren Morris and the Brothers Osborne wil pay tribute to the victims of the 2017 Las Vegas shooting at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival.

West Vancouver’s Sarah McLachlan is nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Wonderland. Other Canadian nominees include Michael Bublé, Alex Cuba, Arcade Fire, Shawn Everett, Matt Maher, Justin Bieber, Alessia Cara, The Weeknd, Daniel Caesar and Toronto recording engineer Charles Moniz, who has three nominations for his work on Bruno Mars’ album, 24K Magic.
