Representatives of the Parkgate Community Services Society held their 29th annual general meeting and community recognition event at the Parkgate Community Centre in North Vancouver, May 24.

Following the meeting, community volunteers were celebrated and awarded and all those in attendance took in a presentation by members of the Deep Cove Heritage Society regarding the launch of their new book, Echoes Across Seymour. A reception featuring live music and appetizers rounded out the evening.
