Bye Bye Balmoral was the refrain on June 8 as hundreds of alumni and former members of the school community gathered at the 53-year-old North Vancouver educational institution to say goodbye as the last junior secondary school on the North Shore closed its doors.

The school gymnasium was awash in the school colours of black and orange and historical displays of school memorabilia, including a film presentation from the '70s and onwards, brought back fond memories to the many in attendance.
