U.K. Indian pop/alt/bhangra band Swami perform July 1 at the Commodore Ballroom as part of this year's TD Canada Trust Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Credited with bringing British bhangra back to prominence in Indian clubs the Birmingham, England-based group are performing on a double-bill with Pacifika in the jazz fest's Urban Groove series.
