Dee Daniels helps Cap Jazz celebrate its 20th anniversary season with a show at Kay Meek Centre featuring the NiteCap vocal ensemble.

Jazz vocalist Dee Daniels rehearses with NiteCap and musical director Réjean Marois at Capilano University on Tuesday night. She will be performing with the student vocal ensemble at the Grosvenor Theatre at West Vancouver’s Kay Meek Centre on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Cap Jazz series

Daniels has strong ties to the Capilano University’s jazz studies program. She performed in The BlueShore at Cap’s first-ever season and has worked with students for many years. Her performance with NiteCap will help celebrate the series' 20th anniversary.

“I Could Have Danced All Night,” was written by Frederick Loewe and Alan Jay Lerner in 1956 for Julie Andrews in the Broadway musical My Fair Lady.
