Black Girl turns 50
A true ‘indie’ masterpiece, Ousmane Sembène’s 1966 debut feature, Black Girl (La noire de...), announced the emergence of a new African cinema analyzing the colonial experience from a different perspective. Huskies vs. ’Bama
