DJ Ellen Allien began a short tour of the West Coast last night in Seattle. One of Berlin techno’s signature acts, Allien is a key figure in the city’s electronic music scene. She’s been running her own label, BPitch Control, since 1997. Her latest solo album, Nost, came out in May (ellenallien.de).
