German photographer and famed Berghain nightclub doorman Sven Marquardt visits North Vancouver’s waterfront tonight for a free performance at Polygon Gallery. The evening will feature a conversation between Marquardt and Attila Richard Lukacs at 9 p.m. followed by a Black Box performance at 9:30 p.m. with accompanying Berlin techno sound component supplied by Berghain resident DJ Marcel Dettmann. Vancouver Film Critics Circle named Kathleen Hepburn’s debut feature, Never Steady, Never Still top Canadian film of 2017.
