Bikefest arrived in North Vancouver on Sunday, July 25 and was held in Mahon Park. The all day event sponsored by Mountain Equipment Co-op is a celebration of bikes and cycling culture. This year MEC hosted similar events in major cities across the country.

Demonstrations and workshops offered all kinds of information and instructions to the participants on a variety of topics that included bike safety, maintenance, helmet fitting and yoga for cyclists. As well there were games for the kids and exciting riding demonstrations.
