Murrayville Performers (MVP) is disbanding, saying dwindling numbers and new potentials as the main reasons.

"We had a great three years with three wonderful productions," said founding member Kate Major.

"It was a lot of hard work, but fun to see the results," she said, elaborating that many members have sought to branch out and get involved with other community theatre groups, as well.

It's that migration that has opened up a new possibility with a 55-plus group being discussed with Surrey Little Theatre, Major said, noting some of the MVP members are seriously hoping to join that group.
