Wilna Parry, Marion Jackson and Jeanette Terrace of the Lions Gate Gogos are holding a fundraising event Saturday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at St. Clements Anglican Church at 3400 Institute Rd. in North Vancouver.

The Shred for a Cause event – part of a fundraising effort for the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign that aims to raise awareness, build solidarity, and mobilize funds for community-based organizations that support African grandmothers and the children in their care – encourages people to come shred their unwanted documents in a secure environment, along with making a minimum donation of $10.
