The following is a selection of volunteer opportunities from various community organizations, made available through Volunteer North Shore, a service of North Shore Community Resources Society.

Fringe Festival Volunteer The festival runs Sept. 6-16. Volunteers needed for a variety of positions including everything from ticket sellers to ushers to site crew to bartenders, and a whole lot more. No matter what your area of interest, there will be a volunteer position that is just right.
Coho Festival Volunteers Seeking volunteers for organization and September festival. Have fun, meet new friends and support a not for profit, local organization that is important to the community.
Newsletter Editor The newsletter publishes stories and accounts of life in West Vancouver in the past. The editor works with the West Vancouver archivist and other citizens interested in the history of West Vancouver. The retiring editor will train his successor and the board members will help.
Volunteer Driver Provide transportation for frail, elderly seniors to enable them to get out of their homes and go grocery shopping, attend appointments or participate in social activities in the community.
Visitors Care centre is looking for volunteers to visit with residents and help with various programs. Examples of duties are: conversation, musical entertainment, games, reading, mealtime assistance etc. This position would be suitable for a high school student, 16 years of age or older.
