Big Sister Study Buddy Tutor Volunteer tutors are matched one-to-one with a Little Sister to help her improve her educational performance, which will contribute to her overall sense of self-esteem. They meet for one hour a week for a minimum of six months.

Community Campaign Volunteer Canvassers visit door to door for approximately two-four hours to raise awareness and collect funds for research and health promotion initiatives for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Canvassers are also encouraged to canvass online or take a kit to work to raise funds. The campaign runs for the entire month of February and canvassing can be done to accommodate participants schedule.

Administrative Assistant Data entry, file maintenance and event planning. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, have strong computer skills, take initiative in their role and require limited supervision.

Culture and Language Exchange Group Seeking teen volunteers to participate in building understanding across cultures and languages. Meet with an international student or newcomer to Canada for one hour per week for six weeks, starting in February 2018.

Peer Support Volunteer Those looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity and who want to make a difference are needed to be senior peer support/connector ambassadors. Expand helping skills and keep active in the community. Free, training provided.
