Members of the Uzume Taiko drum group rehearse for the upcoming first Welcome Hych’ka community celebration at Waterfront Park on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is intended to celebrate Coast Salish first contacts and is hosted by Presentation House Theatre and Mortal Coil Performance Society.
