In June, Bodwell High School principals Cathy Lee and Stephen Goobie, together with students Paula Rivera Ortiz and Ali Erfani, presented a cheque for $10,000 to North Vancouver City Library Board vice-chair Stephen Smith (far left) and chief librarian Jane Watkins (far right). The funds are to be used for the library’s audio/video production station that is currently being developed.
"Technology has emerged as a necessary tool for ensuring that students are able to meet rigorous educational standards,” said Lee. "The library’s video production station will provide opportunities in skill development by encouraging exploration, and Bodwell High School is proud to support that.”
