The Force For Alexa: Perry Turcotte, Deanna Fillmore Turcotte and Pete Turcotte promote their upcoming fundraising event on Jan. 17, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., at Big Pete’s Collectibles, 128 Lonsdale Ave., North Vancouver, to support the recovery of a North Vancouver teen named Alexa who was seriously injured in a December traffic accident. The store will donate all the charity proceeds from sales of Marvel’s Star Wars No. 1 comic, and 20 per cent of all sales on Jan. 17 to the cause. Members of the 501st Legion will make an appearance from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
