Port Coquitlam actor Richard Wiens directs the next production for a New Westminster theatre company.

Wiens leads the Tom Smith show Drinking Habits, which is being presented by Vagabond Players from Feb. 1 to 25 at the Bernie Legge Theatre in Queens Park.

It is Wiens first time directing for Vagabond; however, he has played key parts such as in the Agatha Christie mystery, Go Back for Murder, and Charley’s Aunt.

He was also the puppeteer behind Audrey Two in the Little Shop of Horrors, the company’s season opener.

For Drinking Habits, Nicola Watson and Jennifer Kennedy portray the nuns, sisters Philomena and Augusta, while Christopher Brown and Kylee Bush are the reporters Paul and Sally.
