The fifth annual North Shore Mayors' Golf Tournament was held at the Seymour Golf and Country Club May 25. The designated charity for this year's event was the North Shore Women's Centre Complementary Health and Wellness Clinic. A $50,000 donation from the event will cover the centre's two-year startup. An integrative health centre, it will offer a range of services, from traditional Chinese medicine to reflexology, and will focus on education and prevention and support women living in poverty. The remainder of the funds raised from the event will be shared by the North Shore Community Foundation and the West Vancouver Community Foundation.
