Football alumni from the North Shore Lions, Cougars and Wildcats from the late-1940s to the early-1980s gathered at the Capilano Rugby Clubhouse June 16 for a reunion.

Ex-players, coaches, team sponsors and league officials caught up on old friendships as they enjoyed a barbecue and refreshments. Those in attendance pored over scrapbooks filled with old team and game photos as they reminisced about their football career highlights.

Proceeds from the event went towards the development and promotion of high school football on the North Shore.
