Representatives of the North Shore Inline Hockey League held their annual volunteer appreciation event at North Vancouver's Cheers Restaurant on May 25.

More than 60 guests were on hand to honour the hard work, time and effort put in by community members who help run B.C.'s largest non-profit inline hockey league.

The co-ed league features more than 700 players who compete at Karen Magnussen, Harry Jerome and West Vancouver arenas.
